Favorite Recipes for Barbecuing

Lemon and Herb Salmon Rub
(Recommended with Hickory or Alder Pellets)

1 Salmon Filet (skin attached)
2 Lemons
Seasonings (salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning herbs)

In a large dish squeeze the juice from two lemons, enough to cover the bottom of the dish. Lightly apply seasonings to the flesh side of the Salmon filet and place skin-side down onto the lemon juice in the dish.

Let marinate for 1 1/2 hours. With the Stoven preheated, set the pellet control knob to 3 1/2 to and place the Salmon filet on the cooking grate with the skin side down and cook for 15 to 18 minutes.


Stoven Chicken and Steaks
(Recommended with Hickory or Mesquite Pellets)

1 Whole Chicken (cut-up in parts with skin removed) or
1 3/4-to-1 inch thick Steak (ribeye's our company's favorite)
1/3 Cup Soy Sauce
Seasonings (salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning herbs)

In a large dish pour the soy sauce, enough to cover the bottom of the dish. Lightly apply seasonings to the chicken parts or steak and soak in the Soy Sauce for 4 hours. With the Stoven preheated, set the pellet control knob to 4 to 4 1/2 and place the steak or chicken parts on the cooking grate and turn every 12 to 15 minutes. Total cooking time for the steak is 18 to 24 minutes and the chicken parts is 40 to 45 minutes.


Burgers
(Recommended with Hickory, Oak, or Mesquite Pellets)

1 lb. Ground Sirloin or Round (low fat content)
1/2 finely chopped medium onion
2 tlbs. Worchestershire Sauce
3 tlbs. BBQ Sauce
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Pepper
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder

In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, chopped onion and other ingredients. Make into patties. With Stoven preheated, set the pellet control knob to 4 to 5 and cook for 8 to 10 minutes on each side. For those of you who like cheese, place the cheese on patties at the final minute and turn off pellet dispenser. Wait 2 minutes for the cheese to melt, remove and enjoy!


Smoked "Take and Bake" Pizza
(Recommended with Hickory, Oak, or Mesquite Pellets)

1 Large or Extra Large Take and Bake Pizza

Preheat Stoven and set temperature dial to 5 to 6. Place uncooked pizza with its paper cooking tray on top of a pizza cooking tin (sold separately) and then placing tin directly on the cooking grate. Check after 15 minutes or when crust is a golden brown. Average cooking time 20 to 25 minutes.


Stoven Shrimp-Kabobs
(Recommended with Hickory or Alder Pellets)

1 lb. (21-to-25 ct) Peeled and de-veined Shrimp
1/3 cup Italian Salad Dressing
Bamboo Skewers

In a medium bowl, marinate the shrimp for 1 hour in the Italian Dressing. Put on skewers. Preheat Stoven and set the dial to medium 3.5 to 4. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes each side or until done. Ummmm Good!
